That sunset hit juuuust right during Lydia & Joe’s engagement session! That golden glow soaked the iconic Horse Heaven Hills to give them the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. In true Eastern Washington fashion, the wind made an appearance but with Lydia’s gorgeous long hair it just added more drama to this already perfect session.
The couple totally nailed their outfit choices to stand out against the rich colors of the dessert landscape. It always works best to choose one casual outfit that just feels like you and then a dressy outfit to honor this special session. We started with their all black casual outfit and focused on a lot of movement and fun because let’s face it, the first 15-minutes in front of the camera are the most awkward. *But that’s where I come in ;)* Lydia’s flowy maxi dress stole the show for their second outfit. The way the dress flowed in the wind was truly a vibe. Ladies, a flowy maxi dress is never a bad idea when it comes to your engagement session.
Truly the best part about engagement sessions is we get to hang out together exactly like the wedding day: me snapping away behind the camera. My goal is for you to walk away from this session not only with cute photos to commemorate your time as fiances, but to feel like WOW, we nailed it! So when wedding day comes, you’re like we got this. We’re pro’s now!
After delivering their photos, Lydia sent me this sweet text!
